Low-viscosity top coats are a huge trend right now, and Smart Top Light nails it. It’s all about achieving that natural, effortless nail look quickly and efficiently as formula levels itself and you get a flawless finish faster.
“I love the consistency of Smart Top Coat, it has a thinner viscosity making it easy to work with yet the honey like texture and self leveling properties allows you to correct the structure and minor imperfections when needed,” says Emma Jackson - a UK based manicurist, educator and mentor to many upcoming nail artists. “You gain more speed without sacrificing the quality,” she adds.

Creating a tack-free top coat wasn’t easy. “To skip the sticky layer, the formula has to be extra reactive. That means stabilizing it becomes tricky, especially against light sources like UV, LED, and even daylight,” says Estefānija, an expert in top coat formulations. “It took a lot of research and trial and error to stabilize the key component, Thiol. But the result? A tack-free top that’s not only stable but also ultra-reliable,” she points out.
