The execution
Imagine outside - beautiful snowy fairytale. Inside – a toasty 30 degrees! So at least it was not that hard to picture a hot summer night. The team members eagerly tried to find excuses to jump into the pool and cool off. But the pool was pretty cold, so after a minute, everyone was out. Except for the brave mermaid, our muse who spent half of the day in it. She didn't complain at all.
For the look, we went all out with the Cyber Lime color – full of energy. The silk dress and Bottega Veneta sandals, paired with unique Latvian handmade Madara Keidža accessories, made a perfect balance between elegance and rebellious.
By the way did you catch the reference? We redid an iconic fall in the pool photo. Photo was inspired by a 1973 photo by Helmut Newton made for Vogue Magazine. We had just one chance to get the perfect shot, so we crossed our fingers to avoid extra preparation time.
The challenges
Facing technical challenges because we wanted to shoot underwater, we found cool solutions - our team created a camera case made of a fish tank. Awesome team making the shoot fun and positive. The only sad thing - we could've stayed longer in the spa and rested, but hey, we got the job done in a day!
